From Satie to Syren: A Cultural Histoy Of Electronic Music – Aftershow with Josef Kunz

Mark and Alex invite you to join a tour d’horizon of electronic pop history, a dive to the roots of what we call Techno today, embedded in
a larger picture of cultural history. We want to outline general developments using specific examples, including historic sounds that don’t sound historic at all. And we are excited to learn from your input, as many of you most probably know much more about
contemporary Techno than us.

Josef Kunz is a live techno artist and DJ driven by a passion for highlighting the live performance electronic music scene. He brings
this vision to life through his hardware focused performances, his community-driven events, record label, and magazine—each a platform for disrupting and redefining the world of live electronic music.
